well,,,,,

Im doubly sad.

coming up to 2k posts David, I remember the old days when I was just posting in infancy too

Actually, I really wish I wasnt that high in posts - at least when Bob was up there I always had someone else to blame for 'posting too much'.

For the 'get out in the garage' mob, I do. In about a month, my avatar will show the back of the car completed, and the car 'just' needing running boards / front wings and a front.

Shyte load of other little stuff to do tho.....its stuff like hinged locking boot lids, bumpers, light nacelles, making own GRP bits, blah de blah thats time consuming.

Yes - I'm in that phase as well - 101 little jobs left to do, and every one seems to take far more time than it ought.

(and I know I'm only an amateur poster compared to some... )

Well done David, I remember when I got to a thousand posts, it was all fields round here........................

Cheers

Chris

BTW I think we ought to have a seperate "useful posts" Number, I'm doing quite well I think, about 4 so far.

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

Perhaps we should measure it as a ratio of hours spent building to number of posts or ££'s spent per post?

I am about 1 hour to 1 post

..and about £2 spent on the build per post..

.. how are the rest of you getting on?

well, i write all my hrs down, but have resolved not to add em up till i have finished in case it invokes thoughts of suicide.

However, I recon its a bout 4 posts an hr (500 and 2000) and about 2 quid a post also. recon my build, all up inc paint and sva is gonna be near 5k.

Steve,

I noticed that, as of today, your post count exactly matches your year of birth.

Also with the above formula do you just keep dividing by posts when your car is finished?

This is getting complicated

I'm about 75p per post so either my car is incredably cheap or I'm not posting enough!

Cheers

Chris

you havnt been listening.

have you.

look at my sig.

You have funny bumper cars round your way. If you looked at the paper spec of a locost, it sounds like a dirt track car. But we all know it isnt.
