I watch it on TV when I've nothing better to do. Enjoyed todays from Hockenheim. Pity M.Schumacher's tyre gave up as I would have enjoyed watching Coulthard pass him.

yours, Pete.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Well thanks to RWD i watched the hole race, yeah it was ok i spose.

Ralf Shewy to blame for the crash, bit harsh - 10 grid possitions at next race i thought.

As usuall coulthard making up places without racing, but good tactics by his team though.

Might watch the next one

That was one of the best races of the season, Ralf was to blame but he was racing Rubens, and thought he had enough room to move over as Ralf would not have seen Kimi, along side Rubens one of those things, but the race should have been stopped.

I am a pretty avid F1 watcher, and always have been. No specific favourite team, but much respect for Williams and Maclaren as the teams are run by people who are in it to win motor races. Some of the others see it more as a business or a win at all costs situation - to the extent that I often think there is some rule breaking going on - certainly one team in particular has too much influence on the rule makers and governing body.

I am being put off watching by the attitude of James Allen during his commentary - he is far too involved in the Michael Shoemaker fan club to give an unbiased view in my opinion.

There is a standing joke in F1 that the rules are written in Italian!

Probably - but it is not for Minardi's benefit!

What does spurious mean?

It's what cowboys wear on their bootious.
It's true meaning is "not genuine" or "not from a proper source". Like "your car is built from spurious parts" if you use pattern replacements.

I still enjoy watching F1, the last two races were the best I've seen in a long while. Don't really support any teams apart from Jordan, but thats mandatory when you're Irish and I'm not admitting to it this season I'm happy to see renault back in the action though

It would be good to see all the top drivers in the same car class ,ie "Saxo's or similar" would take away team advantages..

The point is it is F1, where you need to be the best team, best designer, best driver etc, all under 1 roof to win, if you want a single class make watch Formula Renault or something like that.

its gutting that the seasons ending soon though. my doughs on Monty, but i'd rather Raikkonen won. Mind you, hes terrible in the press conference afterwards! Seriously short of words!

Mika was similar though, he once said he was "super disappointed" when his car broke!

Buttons alright, at least hes honest when things go shite, and i prefer him to Villneuve. As for DC, at least he is fairly consistent in the Macca, thats better than many others, though maybe age will improve them all...

any ways thats my tuppeny....!

afternoon all....
