I don't mind taking photos, but I prefer to watch the action, so no action photos.

the action today wasnt that good due to the weather mostly with alot of the cars scheduled to run not venturing out of the paddock.

there was also a fairly impressive crash of an aston martin that put a slick shod wheel onto the wet grass and did 6 spins taking off both ends on the straw bails.

this year was the least interesting one ive been to but might be better if the weather is good sat and sun.

In another forum someone posted this:

AMV8 crashed and it sent debris everywhere. A large chunk went flying into the grandstand and took half a guys face off. Havent seen so much blood in ages. Felt really sorry for him. In the row below was a family with two small children. If the angle of attack was different it could have decapitated

not good, i left not long after the crash so didnt see anyone hurt although there was an ambulance but i thought that was just a precaution for the driver.

hopefully they will recover and it wont affect the rest of the event or future years. there are motorsports is dangerous signs everywhere for a reason.

Was supposed to have been there yesterday - had tickets etc but was actually half way down the western coast of France (3/4 hr eastish of La Rochelle).

Got home about 3 hrs ago, and slightly knacked!
