Autograss Day Out, Not Donnington

Sorry, but Donnington get the thumbs down from me these days so we went to watch the Autograss at Whitchurch (North Shropshire).

Usual great day with friendly people, exciting, close racing and some great cars.

Looks like you had better weather than us, i went to the Solway meeting later on & it was "damp".

Yep Growler was two V twins (not sure what from) and it did sound awesome and certainly went quick. Very apt name.

Old guy (Alan Mills I think) had a cosworth RWD polo that we have seen before and beat him in the second race. Was close and exciting though.

Cool, good to see a few of you see ign some grassin'!!

Just wish my new car was done but its some way off at the mo.

As Mike said, Growler is an awesome car to watch, now imagine the same but with a bit more power and in a fiat 126 shell.................................

Now imagine it with NS Dev behind the wheel, nursing a sore hand, his g/f stood at the side of the track praying ......... 0 to 80 in about 20 seconds :p

(and as soon as the g/f turns her back, 0 to 80 and a damned sight less)
