Anyone see the MK INDY RR that just sold on ebay fo £9400.00 seems a bit cheap to me?

I dont think so.

Ive seen nice examples go for a lot less than that.

There is no link to press.

Depends what it has in it and condition but it's cheap for an rr

Perhaps the owner didn't just list it for his own amusement, he actually wanted to sell it?

It did have a lot of good kit on it such as cockpit adjustable roll bars etc but was a full on race car so maybe if it was road registered it may have fetched a bit more.It seems putting a value on these cars is very difficult because they are all so different spec wise.I am looking for a bec at the moment & finding it difficult to decide which is a good price or not, guess i need to look at a few to get a better feel for it & just be prepared to travel around a bit.Any advice is always welcome.

Did it really sell though?

It was for sale by Danny at MK,must be one he owns

Look at this on eBay MK Indy RR Hayabusa Race Car Trackday car Sprint

It didn't sell according to the listing

Seems a bit odd not having a reserve price on such a nice highly spec car

CosKev3 - 9/11/16 at 08:33 PM

LOL you don't know how some people work eBay then by the sounds of it?!?

limpetminer - 9/11/16 at 08:48 PM

Obviously not!

Lots of sellers get friends etc to put bids on there items to ensure they get the sale price they want, saves them paying for a reserve price on the auction and makes potential buyers/bidders think it's a no reserve sale so could be a bargain
