Cossflow fan switch thread
Millworm - 28/11/15 at 06:18 PM

I'm using a crossflow thermostat housing on my racleine water rail and I assumed it be the same thread as my engines coolant temp sensor but it's not anyone know the thread so I can get an adaptor made up? Cheers

I'm sure it's M22 x 1.5

That is the size I got for my xflow.

Probably don't need to get one made , it's likely to be available?

Same thread as a vw. If you're running a polo rad or similar they usually have one or a bung at least in the header tank.

Only adaptors are available in bsp not npt. I'm running a cossie rad as it's a sierra

Put a hung in the housing and get a heater hose fitting with the thread you need, probably cheaper than getting an adaptor made? Carbuilderssolutions list them

He doesn't want a switch , he needs a Coolant Temperature Sensor

Cheers guys that's looks like what I'll do, yea it's a coolant temp sensor for the ecu, witch is also the fan switch as it's ecu controlled anyway. I'll put it in the heater matrix hose as that's be free the thermostat where it should really be
