Rev limiter config zetec

Hello Guys,

I'm searching for the right parameters for the Rev limiter.
I have a zetec blacktop 2.0 with itbs with a megasquirt ecu.
Peak hp @ 6000 rpm. I want the hard cut at 6500 soft -200.
But what do i use spark cut first then Fuel cut? I dont have a cat.

No basis for this statement but I would cut fuel before spark otherwise you will be pumping neat fuel/air into a hot exhaust that may cause ignition in the exhaust. Had an issue with the coil drivers blowing on an ecu. Drove the car on two cylinders a mile home, the cat on that care made a great furnace!

I would counter that by saying I would cut the ignition for the soft cut as you will be running lean and risk burning a hole in a piston cutting fuel but would cut both for the hard cut.
