Anyone used Powerspeed Exhausts in Ashford?
As above, does anyone have any experience of Powerspeed in Ashdord, Kent? I need a zetec exhaust manifold made up for my Haynes Roadster in stainless,
and was wondering if they were any good, and much I should expect to pay? Alternatively, any other recommendations in Kent/Essex/Surrey/London would
be appreciated.
Cheers
Adrian

They made my stainless V6 system - 2 x 3:1 headers, 2:1 collector, cat & silencer. Very nicely made and pretty quiet too. Not exactly cheap at
~£900 but good quality stuff

had mine new one made by paul gooderham up in north essex his work is floorless. think he is called 907 on here but his phone number is on his
website so its easier to just call him. http://www.paulgooderham.co.uk/
this is my box he made the other day 6inch by 24inch 2.5inch bore. cost £220 which is blooming good considering its got titanium innards.
the welding on it is just a bit good but then he has been at it for 25 years.
this is the kind of work he can do

I used Powerspeed (5 years ago, mind!) to make up an angled stainless link pipe - good work and a reasonable price, from what I remember

It isn't cheap ( full system works out to be £1K inc vat) but the quality appears very good...and fast turn around as well. I'm very
pleased with mine.

Well, you can see mine above. I'm very happy with the quality of the zorst and manifold. They aren't Locost but you do get what you pay
for.
Knowledge is excellent and you may notice I went for a 4-2-1 on mine and Jeff went for a 4-1. Reason being Jeff uses his at teh top of the rev range
(sprinting) whereas I use mine mainly for the road and wanted more mid range torque.
I also didn't want everything protruding from the top of the bodywork so they swept it down and out low down.
Great work and if you look at their workshop its got some real auto erotica in
pretty much all the time.
If anyone is interested, I am organising an Open Day there next spring for the SKCC (Southern Kit Car Club www.southernkitcars.com )
Let me know if you are interested in coming along and I will put you on the list. It won't cost anything and you can check it out for
yourself.
