Engine height
Does this look like about the right height to mount a 1.8 zetec blacktop engine. i have not yet cut it down but will take about an inch off when i
do.

I cant see - the pictures too small!
Looks about the same as mine (2.0 zetec blacktop):
But now cut to suit:

What side panels are you using fibreglass ones or ally ones?

My lower level of cylinder block is about 8,5cm over the upper level of lower tube of frame.
Below this i got 15cm of oil pan, so it sticks out about 4,5cm under the frame. It is 2,0 Blacktop.
