turbo oil feed line an sizes

as above really I am using a 6mm i.d hose for my oil supply to my garrett ball bearing turbo with a 1mm restrictor and getting oil leakage out of the compressor housing. now if I go to a 3an (3mm i.d) hose with a 1mm restrictor will that slow/restrict it even more.

also with the 6mm id hose I had a valve and psi gauge fitted in the oil feed line, on tick over it was about 80 psi (bb turbo should see 45psi at max rpms) I turned it down to 10 psi at idle and the oil leak stops but when I rev it just to 8k the oil pressure reaches 60psi which is over the recoomended 45psi and then I get smoke and the oil leak comes back.

will the 3mm hose help me and do I go 0.8mm restrictor aswell as the smaller hose

hope that make sense, and thanks in advance

It's like sucking up a thick or thin straw, using 3mm pipe will help control the pressure, will it be enough is another thing but nothing to lose.
