We are currently attempting a Duratec with OEM ECU Install... has anyone actually managed to complete this successfully on a Duratec? I know Wasa has
done a guide for Zetecs... but I've not seen a post with a success story for a Duratec..
Have you made any progress?

yep it can be done,
I recently carried out a duratec install on my luego velocity.
I cant personally tell you what needs to be done as my dad (master ford technician) completed the wiring side of things while I did the mechanical
parts i:e engine, fuel system etc.
I've done a few hundred miles in it now and all runs well, until someone crashes into it while waiting to have the MOT done.

Do you have any pictures of the loom in situ? This might help me work out what's needed and what isn't!!
Sorry to hear about the shunt, i hope they coughed up for the repair!

I don't have many photo's of the wiring in situ and I don't think photo's will help much.
what will help is, I'm sure we did a wiring diagram to help aid us if we needed to fault find.
I shall check with my dad if he completed this.

Thread revival
I'm back. Been busy the last year finishing my CRX off but now I'm focusing on Duratec in the van diemen budget style. Here's a
couple of pics from tonight. Basically stripped and arranged most of the engine. Like the look of the standard exhaust. I reckon I could mod that to
suit my low budget needs.
Gonna have to source some sort of inlet manifold and will need lots of help with the wiring but fortunately I kept almost everything out the car.
