Cheap and cheerful OR cheap and nasty!?

Hi all,

Has anyone used one of these as a hydraulic clutch master cylinder?

Making a DIY hydraulic clutch for my MT75.

I used a land rover master cylinder - just ebay "land rover master cylinder clutch" and you'll get lots more at or around that price.

For what it's worth I used one with an integral reservoir matched to a land rover slave - and not had any problems so far.

Thanks gregs

Do you know any other donors with a 'pull' slave cylinder other than buying a new Wilwood one?

I used a push cylinder having drilled & tapped a hole into the bell housing and welded (against all best practise!) a lug on a well to carry the cylinder.
