Cbrr 1000 kitcar install

Hi folks anybody on this site fitted a 2010 onwards cbrr1000 engine to there kitcar car if so what way did the get around the injectors in the airbox pictures would be very helpful many thanks Richard

You can't, they stay. You can however get a lower air box from AB Performance.

A call to Andy Bates is worthwhile without doubt.

Alternatively if you google 'Knobby CBR Vortex' a guy has written a great blog on his build using this lump.

Also Facebook page JFS Auto Racing, more CBR install tech.

If you really want to get rid of them go for four bigger injectors in lower position and after market management

If you look at Roscos Haynes build on here he made a very nice bracket/holder for the top injectors on his ZX10R engine which allowed him to use a big foam sausage filter
