Honda s2000/F20c COP amplified?
Hi, trying to quickly solve a silly issue:
- Are the original Honda coils of the S2000 amplified? Omex say I have to ship my ECU back to them for modification if the coils are amplified...
Bugger!
And a less silly issue:
- If those coils are amplified, should I follow Omex advice to send it (from Holland) for modification, OR, do what the locals seem to prefer, which
is scrap the COP system and let the Omex trigger an electronic distributer, like that of a VW Polo 6N2?

All 3 wire COPs have an internal igniter unit. The other very popular option is a Ford 4 outlet coil pack
