Exhaust Manifolds - I need one
Thats it! I've had enough. 
I'm almost at the point of cutting my lolocost manifold into bits to try and make it fit and look decent (it exist half way up the side of the
chassis and i don't like that look)
What is the best way to get an exhaust manifold with decent performance?
I've got a full caterham 4-2-1 rear exit system which isn't great for performance and i'm almost at the stage where i'm going
to remake engine mounts and engine bay triangulation just to fit it........
HELP!

i'm not quite at the spending huge amount of dosh stage yet.......

I cut my lolocost manifold to get it to fit, by using a 1mm disc in the angle grinder top and bottom leaving 10mm in the centre at the 3 and 9
o'clock positions then welding the resultant larger and smaller gaps up, you can then diegrind out any welds the project into the gas flow out of
the way.
Sorry for the lame explanation, the results are show below.

Your picture highlights the problem for me.
I don't want the manifold exiting half way up the side of the car. Its a very personal thing but I want my manifold exiting near the bottom
chassis rail - i just prefer that "look".
I've already cut the manifold from the header plate and think that I might be able to extend and angle the first couple of inches but then it
ends up almost touching lots of bits (engine bay side triangulation and it also comes close to the passenger bulk head and bell housing.
Don't suppose you've got a side view further back so i can see what it really looks like - hopefully I'll change my mind.

Will get one over the weekend, my exhaust clears the TR tubes by 7-10mm hopefully enough to allow any engine movement.

i've actually removed that tube and rewelded it on the bottom rail to make it a bit lower & still with it clearing by about 5mm i'm
not happy .......... still looks in mid air!
NS Dev has probably persuaded me to make my own using stainless dairy bends.

daft question - is 1.5mm by 1.5" 'man' enough for an exhaust header?
Just slightly worried that my Lolocost manifold is 2mm

1.5mm is plenty man enough, but if you are worried, I can get hold of thicker (dunno on price yet) from Damstahl, who do pretty much anything
stainless wise!!
I would worry about the weight of 2mm!

aha, so i can claim this is a performance modification - going down to 1.5 mm from the lolocost 2mm exhaust........
damn, was thinking of using some of the 2mm bends + collector from the lolocost one !
