Pinto head skimming

Is it worth having the head of a standard 1.8 Pinto skimmed? If so, what is the optimum amount to have taken off (provided it has not been done in the past) and at what kind of cost?

You could fit a 2litre of course and get an instant straight swap power increase.

I think James means use the bottom bit from the 2.0 in conjunction with the top bit
