axle problems

living in a shity country u can't get anything. i found a sierra axle and was wondering can they be used without much wotk to do the frame. if any one has planes of how to change the frame it is greatly needed

Paul,

What I did was to remove the subframe, and remove the hub backplates from suspension arms, and made some wishbones and rear uprights.

Keep the diff (inc top rubber bush and large mounting bolts)/drive shafts/drum assemblies (inc h/brake cable) etc.

Bin the rest.

Buy Tiger Avon book, and base IRS on that.
