Mazda RX8 donor 193hp

So i had decided to change engine.
Less popular but light wiyh good gearbox and enough power.
In good condition.
I think in next 2 months i will start swaping it.

Why not the 230 version ?

Well IT was Just a decission in moment.
Friend of mine called me he had a runing Rx8 that engine is that he dont need. He is going about to put 1jz Toyota 3.0 turbo charged engine.
So I made some research about wankl rotary engine and do IT is.
Friend of mine had a Rx7 with all most 300.000 km on clock with no engine rebuild or damaged.
Those rotary engines need to be care with special way.

Looking forward to news on this.

I have often considered a 231 (you also get the 6 speed box if you buy the whole car).

Have you had a compression test done on your engine?

It been a while since last post, little progress of taking apart Mazda donor/
Whole front main and engine bay electric loom last saturday got out of the car





This month will try to take out old 2.0 sierra lump and make some measurements of new engine mounts and gearbox.

By the way take a look how small this engine is







520mm x 470mm

Hi there. it's been a while since my last post here.
Some progres done,


Engine in and fired up.
Few things left but I dont have enough time for Locost cause Im fixing clients cars.
.Hope next 3 weeks will make a test drive.

Its been a while since last post.
My locost is after few small test drive. Engine runing smooth.
Ive changed starter for the stronger one N3Z1 fir better engine start.
I.m having less time to work on my project so thats why my long absence.
Today evening will put some pics for ya.

190 bhp will be more than enough , looks a great install , light weight engine should be fun
