Luego Velocity Build Manual

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have a complete build manual for a Luego Velocity XT? I have a hard copy which the original owner gave me when I bought the car, but I've just realised that some sections are missing. Any help gratefully appreciated.

Cheers,

Pete

Hi matt5964,

Any chance that you still have a copy of the Luego Velocity XT build manual.

I purchased my kit years ago, and with a lot gone on with family etc. it got put on the back burner but now is the time to finish the old girl off.

Cheers

Oh! I see. Its like that is it!!!

If it's any help I have a Luego Lowcost which is very similar in Great Shelford if you need to check anything. Make sure you read about the crush tube and also the powder coating before building the car, it could save you loads of grief.
Is this the kit in Kinges Hedges Rd?

Another couple of things to sort out, the steering column bush , there's a self aligning bearing that improves things. The rear suspension uprights on my car both bent resulting in strange handling, I straightened them out and welded on some reinforcing bands , been OK for the last 8 years. Both of these items have been covered in this section of the forum

No its not the kit in King Hedges.
I got this kit years ago from the original guys when Luego was based in Peterborough and had to put it on hold due to family commitments/new house/life lol
Now its time to get the old girl finished.

I got my kit from Peterborough too, sounds like life got in the way of your build too.

I ended up in a messy divorce, lost my house, the kit went into storage, I almost lost it in the divorce too, it's taken me 10 years to get back to the point where I could afford to buy another house & finally got my own garage again.

Hopefully I can get building sometime soon once the house is a bit more liveable. We've only been here 8 weeks so still getting sorted out.

Make sure you put some pictures in your archive, I would be interested to see it.
