Got ball joints on the top arms for camber and I cut the bushes off rear lower arms and put rose joints so I could adjust the toe.

That's good then,as the rear toe on mine with the fixed Mac1 bones was quite a way out.

I just did some Googling for settings,in the end IIRC I went for:
Rear,
1 degree negative camber
1 degree toe in
Front
1.5 degrees negative camber
1 degree toe in

How you find it set up like that on road kev? Does it feel solid on road not tracking all over the shop? What shocks you using how did you set the height and damping up?

Yeah feels good,
Considering I'm on Gaz coil overs with springs for a Zetec powered car!

Height wise I've set it to 115mm front chassis to ground, rear is 135mm.

I had it corner weighted too when they set geo

Perfect kev I'll set mine to that see how it goes my springs should be ok as it had the blade engine it. Going get it set up with a boy called andrew lamont motorsport he set up cars for fast road and track going to corner weight it as well.

If you don't mind could you let me know how you get on. I struggled to find anywhere up here to do my last car and will hopefully have another to get setup in a few months.

Have they got a shock Dyno? Or have the dampers been accurately valved for the car.
On a lightweight car I think it's the most critical thing

Not sure don't think so, the car come with gaz shock and it had a fireblade in it I've put a r1 2007 so should be about same weight or there about am guessing that when the guy built the car he told mac1 what engine was going in so got the right shocks.

Do mac 1 buy them in matched pairs?
Sometimes it's worth speaking with someone like procomp for advice or just let them sort it properly.
I'm sure you'll get it somewhere near though, and hopefully see an improvement

It does make a big difference. The ones direct from protech were miles out. I made the trip from Glasgow to procomp with the last car. Great guys.

This time I bought my shocks from procomp ready valved and matched so I can just get the geo set locally

Yes bloody auto correct. Direct from pro tech they weren't even in the same ball park. The car was horrible to drive. After getting them matched, a geo set up and corner weight at procomp the car was transformed. It was genuinely like driving a different car.
