Here a few pics from a trackday at Woodbridge, great day, nice weather and a great bunch of people, nice to see some familiar faces and some lovely kit cars

Ready to play, me and my cousin in his orange Vauxhall powered Pheonix

Should it be lifting the n/s front wheel on that last picture?

Phil

Great pictures BTW.

I dont know but there was a touring car BMW there that was doing the same. I was looking at his photos before i collected mine. They also had the new Aston on top gear doing it at the ring. It only does it under hard acceleration out of the bends. I love the way it handles though and nothing overtook me all day

thinking about it, the suspension settings were very firm, i didnt bother playing with them, thats how i had set them at rockingham which is a nice fast smooth circuit, woodbridge is very bumpy and thats probably why its air borne, a bump probably lifted the inside wheels, it certainly felt bumpy in places.

I had a few people come and ask for passenger rides, they were certainly entertained. I dont tend to keep pthe back end in line with front very much

Santa Pod tomorrow for some straight line action

Great pics. Great car was a shame to have ended your day earlier than intended although you still got more track time than me. At least it was only a minor incedent

It was a great day, spoiled for me only by an embarrassing tankslapper and disappearing backwards into the rough while trying to get out of the way of a race-prepped fiesta of all things

What was worse was that this happened directly in front of the paddocks so everyone saw...

yes dan got mine started but not for long, so called it a day!
tony had an incident with his cousin ending with a blown rear left tyre.

Antnicuk - 5/4/09 at 07:21 PM

Good pics of your Fulcrum, lovely looking and sounding car.

At about 3 i was overtaking my cousin who decided to move across on me (unintentionally) sending me into some cones which swiftly removed the exhaust bung i had in sent it under the back wheel shredding the tyre! I couldnt be bothered to put a pair of my road tyres as with an hour and half left, but still a great day. Just got a little fibreglass repair to do now!

Went to the pod today and ran an 11.7 so a really good weekend!

Even my MK lifted its inside wheel there. I think that's later in the corner than it looks, when you hit that bump (assuming it's the corner I think it is).

I think you had the quickest car out there BTW, based on watching from "turn one".

Any trackdays you do in May onwards let me know. Id love to see how quick yours goes round the track.

You certainly seem to be getting the most out of yours!

Antnicuk - 6/4/09 at 08:00 PM

i love the look of the Fulcrum, its nice to see something so different.

The only track action i have planned in may is the Ring but not in the stylus!

I havent got anything planned but i will post up if i do anything.
