It's a Raw Fulcrum. I think it won all the races.

one of the red cars is the raw fulcrum i think!
Also the white number 9 looks slightly higher at the front than the rear! does this not make the front end very light and unstable at high speeds or is it just camera angle?

Nice pics!

Is that the new MK race chassis?
Does anyone know if there's a website that will keep track of the championship that the two Mk's will be racing in this season? Would be good to know how they get on.

By the looks of the rear wheel being planted into the arch, id say that he was accellerating hard, which would do this to the front would it not?

The white car in the picture is the standard Indy R chassis, with a toyota 4age engine I believe, there has only been two race spec Indy R chassis built, and both are racing this year in the B.A.R.C championship, these cars are busa powered, one with the latest 2008 engine, there 1st race is at Oulton Park on the 28th of March.

I think the Fulcrum looks superb, the more I see of it the more I like it Rescued attachment Fulcrum xxxxxxxxxxx.jpg

Andy B - 15/3/09 at 10:41 PM

The red car in question is indeed the Raw Fulcrum sporting the new lower race bonnet. Raw have been conducting some wind tunnel testing to further improve the aero of the race cars and this is one of the results.
We had a pretty good weekend all round with the Strikers and Fulcrums, in addition to Garys 2 wins in the Fulcrum, we also took both wins in RGB class c with Tim Grays Striker and also a 3rd for Richard Wises Striker. John Cutmore also had a second place in his maiden run in his new CBR1000rr powered GTR so all round a very good start to the season
regards
Andy

Is it just me or has Kits died on its ar$e?!

RGB entry is strong however!

procomp - 17/3/09 at 08:24 AM

Hi Tim

Yep Kit cars is dead in the ground. Untill they change the regulations. and start to take note of what the majority of the driver are saying rather than just two of them. The rest of us will simply just go and race else where. Its not like the 750 kits is the only place to race a kit car these days. There's at least 4-5 other championships / serise where kit cars are catered for. At least 6 drivers have simply walked away from Kits until they sort the regs out. But IMHO the final nail has already been put into it's coffin.

Cheers Matt
