As previously posted I'm the area organiser for the Westfield Sports Car Club and would cordially like to invite any and all local and not so local Kit car owners to the following:-

It's August time so here's whats on so far.

9th Run out from the Humber bridge car park 11ish if it's not raining cats and mutts

11th Evening meeting @ the Altisidora Bishop Burton

17th Piston heads meeting @Triton inn Brantingham nr Hull (thanks Russ) Just been told about this meet anybody got any more info??

Looking further ahead any body going to the Stafford kitcar show in September???

Just a quick thank you to Davey D. Andy and Kipper for turning out.
Had a good run out in the sun and a long coffee at the end as well at trying to convert a couple of biker's to the kit car fold.

Sorry wasnt able to turn out today its my weekend on early shifts. Will be there on tuesday weather permitting and also plan on going to the piston heads night too. Glad it stayed fine for you all.

is anyone else feeling a little frazzled? my arms have really caught the sun... i bet you lot have burt faces from wearing glasses?

i nearly had heart attack on the way home. pulled upto a set of traffic lights in grimsby ( so i was nearly home) and plumes of smoke came out of the bonet vent, and into the footwells... i thought f**k my engines gone bang, so pulled over, turned off the engine, and quickly jumped out to check under the bonnet to see what carnage awaited me

luckily it was just a bit of oil had leaked from the ais valve after id done the breather mod, and it had started to drip onto the hot manifold making smoke.... phew. could have potentially caused a fire, but was luckily just a small amount of oil. need to get some instand gasket to seal the tops me thinks
