why not just order them from kitspares??

MsD - 22/1/13 at 06:40 PM

I ordered a pair from them last year.. had them sat in the garage for ages then decided i wasnt going to use them so sold them on...

Im just being tightfisted and dont wanna pay full price again!

Mark.

I used protex stainless over centre catches with the locking tab so they stick down, and also an r clip through the hole in them.

For IVA I removed the r clips and used rubber covers that Caterham sell for £2 each and strech on to the catches, the tester was happy with this as "Caterham use them"

Plus I won't lose my bonnet anytime soon

Pity I've got a set if the other rubber ones (the ones with the t-bar rubber Bit) sitting used in my garage. You defrost want this sort.

Ive got 3 pairs of these on mine for some reason and think they are unsightly, fiddly things and really can'tunderstand why anyone would put up with them except for the IVA. I'm going to hinge the bonnet at the scuttle with a pair of stainless TR2 hinges and will be looking to use concealled bonnet pins at the front and just one pair of stainless catches at the sides.

Each to their own, but mine are fine certainly not fiddly and do the job very well.

Toggle &' clip fastener, hooks, for cases, boxes, bonnets, boots, ducting ( 2 no)

don't know if they'll work or not, but the price is pretty good! It isn't what I have used.

These are what you want, whether you know it now or not:
STAINLESS STEEL FIA APPROVED MOTORSPORT BOOT / BONNET HOOKS SPRINGS MLR.IN
