just been looking to price up a full cage for my indy ready for a few local hillclimbs and sprints but who would be best?

MKsportscars will fit one for £420 and the email on martins site doesnt work so might ring but what other options do i have as im a little skint id like to keep the costs a bit lower than that

Probably the only way (short of finding a second hand one) to get one a lot cheaper is to buy the tube, borrow a bender and make one yourself.

I think for hillclimb/sprints you don't need a 'proper' MSA cage, but safer to check with the organisers first.

Unless you can buy, cut, bend and weld the tubes youself, I'd say you were at the mercy of those who can. Not a great deal of help I know but all you can do is ring round various places for quotes, or maybe someone on here capable of doing the job, will offer their services at a competitive price.

I was told at newark that the mk indy full cage is £350. Good value I reckon.

You could just consider a race rollbar rather than full cage - that shoukd keep costs down a bit (and weight too).

I'm taking mine sprinting/hillclimbing eventually too.

still researching this but am yet to hear back from mac1. does anybody know how much martin keenan charges for a cage? and is it approved?

also what are the advantages of weld in instead of bolt in?
