Holiday in France Much Cheapness
I know this may be a bit late in the year (been meaning to post this for months).
To help fund my barn conversion Ive decided to let out my farmhouse in France again
Its situated in the south-west midway between Poitiers and Limoge about 3/4hours drive from Cognac and 1 1/2 hours from La Rochelle.
If your looking for an Ibiza type holiday forget it its pure chill out in some lovely countryside.
The house is in a hamlet of 6 houses 15 minutes walk from the nearest village,10 minutes drive from a larger village on the river Charente with
pedaloes an outdoor pool, crazy golf etc.
It has a fridge, washing machine, microwave, Sat TV and will sleep 6 comfortably 8 at a push using a bed settee. There is an above ground pool but sadly
the liners tatered Im trying to find a replacement for this but whether I'll get over to replace it before anyone visits is another question
I was looking at £280 a week during August £230 a week at any other time.
I may be able to help with the eurotunnel crossing (about £95 return) so it would be an extremely cheap holiday. The house is a 6 1/2- 7 hour drive
from Calais with a couple of rest stops.
If your interested or want to know more u2u me.I'll put some recent photo's of the house in my photo archive so feel free to have a
butchers.
Cheers,
Bob

Is it on Google Earth, you could give a grid reference to look at.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Just to reassure anyone that may be considering this...
We stayed at Bob's (splitrivet) place a couple of years ago and had a brilliant time. it's a lovely little secluded hamlet. very quite and
in the midst of some great countryside. and not to far from some major towns/cities. The cottage is neat and very comfortable. - Thanks again Bob!
Just added some piccies in my archive under the 'france' folder.....
outside again - smaller

French roads are an absolute dream, you can travel for miles and not see a single car, smooth as silk no potholes, ideal for a bike (or locost)
although it can be busy in August (French holidays).
