Anyone going this year? Have heard it's a lot smaller than it was last time I went (8 years ago!). Either way I'm planning to go for at least one day, if only to have a look and see what people are building these days

Be good to catch up with a few of you if anyone is going

JC - 15/3/19 at 03:53 PM

I’m going!

First proper outing for my new Toy - albeit bought not built!

ian locostzx9rc2 - 15/3/19 at 04:04 PM

I’ll be there at least one day

rusty nuts - 15/3/19 at 04:34 PM

I should be there but probably not with my car, in my motorhome from Saturday lunchtime.

number-1 - 15/3/19 at 05:15 PM

Im going.....but this time i WILL find the indoor area lol.

snapper - 15/3/19 at 06:14 PM

After a longer period of kit car in the garage syndrome, I am expecting to get it through mot shortly and spend big on things that will give me the handling and reliability I need

Slimy38 - 15/3/19 at 07:43 PM

Definitely going, but still not with a completed car (fifth year and counting for that!).

It has been getting smaller each year, the number of clubs is shrinking considerably. It is quite interesting to look at the layout because they don't seem to consolidate the pitches to suit, I still have to walk to the far corner to see what the Nova club bring!! (Love those cars, I'd never want to buy one but I still love them!).

big_wasa - 15/3/19 at 07:45 PM

I really really want to get to this one in a kit.

One of the best things I did with my car was to take it to Procomp , well worth the trip and a day off work!

miskit - 16/3/19 at 12:00 AM

I'll be there, standing out like a sore thumb in with the shiny beach buggy crowd!
.... err unless it get accidentally sold to fund a new project before then.

misterfrostie - 16/3/19 at 09:53 AM

I'm thinking of bobbing down

G13BLocost - 16/3/19 at 10:04 AM

I'll be there on the Sunday with a pocket full of cash (full-ish) and a head full of dreams.

ianhurley20 - 16/3/19 at 10:09 AM

I will be there with 3 other retired kit owners as will several in kit cars from EAKCC

wonderfulweasel - 16/3/19 at 01:32 PM

I'll be going, not in a kit though.

It'll be my first one. Are any of the days better? Or are thy pretty similar?

rusty nuts - 16/3/19 at 02:37 PM

Sunday seems to be busier, I think people set off home from about Mondal lunchtime

Especially if the weather doesn't hold out, I went on a damp Monday one year and there were more cars leaving than there was people coming in!!

melly-g - 16/3/19 at 09:48 PM

I'll be there from Saturday to Monday!

pekwah1 - 17/3/19 at 09:05 AM

I’m up for the weekend!

Bluemoon - 17/3/19 at 08:58 PM

Will be along on Monday. Looking forward to the rather epic road trip (cars home is currently Norwich and we live near Oxford! Bit crazy I think...)...

Yes the hotrod will be there

swanny - 25/4/19 at 08:19 AM

does anyone know where the electric hook-ups are for the camping area?
thinking if taking the kids for the weekend again (they had a great time last year) but wondered about getting the hook up cable out of the loft this time.

rusty nuts - 25/4/19 at 10:07 AM

Probably in the motorhome camping area?

ian locostzx9rc2 - 25/4/19 at 12:37 PM

Got the pitch details in grand ring block k club stand c19 Rawcus which looking at the site map is near the halls where the funfair normally is

flak monkey - 2/5/19 at 09:24 AM

I'll be there Sunday if anyone wants to catch up.

Probably wont be buying anything as I'm skint

flak monkey - 5/5/19 at 07:13 PM

Had a wander around.

Saw a few familiar faces but wasnt recognised (no shock) so I moved along.

Bought a few small items, nothing exciting. We took the MX5 to stop us buying anything too big!

big_wasa - 5/5/19 at 07:24 PM

I am sure I see you any your partner on the Rally design stall. But it was prety busy.

Think I saw you and your partner coming out of the food hall but wasn’t sure , were you wearing a black tee shirt with some printing on the front? I was at the entrance with a scalped westie

Could have been us, not sure. Sophie was in a purple hoody. I was in a black vest top.

Certainly a lot smaller show than it used to be. But good to see some people are still coming up with new stuff.
