This is basic info that I just don't know.
What are the weights of the following:
1" square 18 gauge tubing per'
3/4 round 18 gauge tubing per'
16 gauge sheet per Sq'
I'm making a 1/4 scale model of a chassis and I'm worried that if I keep adding diagonals it's going to need a diesel truck engine to
get it rolling.
Thanks
try , this does the calcuations for you depending on gaug and size.
russ.
Sounds like an interesting project, is it to develop skills (welding etc?) or just for fun? Was thinking of something similar myself to teach myself
to weld. What will you be using as wheels?
Pete
