Thoughts on this MK?

Hello all, thinking of going for another 7 style car and was wondering what people's thoughts on this one are:

Looks to have a very good spec but what do others think?

I saw that - Im not a fan of the yellow but it looks very well specc'd.

Hi

Very nice engine 5-7K to build new. However very expensive to repair WHEN it goes wrong. The gearbox BGH HD will not take the power/torque so needs upgrading to a proper Quaife / Tranex. And it's all in a chassis that certainly wont Handel that power / torque. All adds up to a big disappointment and expensive to sort engine.

With a 10K budget to play with there's plenty of choice out there with a much better more balanced package.

Hello mate, sold the old car early in the year, as half way through yet another 6 monther and will miss all the track days this summer. To be honest the BEC was good but hard work after a while., although never say never but will have to be faster next time!

Got rid of the TVR too, but have a Porsche 911 in the garage now and looking at another 7 type car to add to it.

How are things with you then? When is the car fixed?
