Brake Upgrade advice pls?

Hi All,
Well I have just finished my Hayabusa conversion and its all looking very very nice!! Will get some pics up soon....
Advice please: I have single pot calipers on the front of my car (fitted by previous owner) and they just do not provide anything like the breaking
power I want. Having spent a fairly hefty amount of money on the car recently I am for the time being ruling out 4 pot Wilwood conversions but would
like advice on what Ford calipers and agressive pads I could use to give me the breaking I need?
My current (new) master cylinder is from an Escort apparently.

I've done rather a lot of searching and questioning on brakes recently so to start off I would say:
Smaller bore master cylinder perhaps and a lot of people reccommend Mintex M1144 pads.
If you do a search there is a LOT of information covered on brakes.

Just remember to adjust the back to front ratio when upgrading just the fronts.
Last thing you want is an unstable car on braking.

ferrodo racing ds2500 compound pads are the proverbial shiz niz.

I had some Wilwood smart pads and upgraded to Mintex 1144 which are in a different league and i actually feel safe stopping even if they do squeel
like a piggy. Along with the brake engineering drilled discs and the wilwood 4 pot calipers at the front with standard sierra gear a the back i am now
really happy with the setup.
As i have just seen in the above post the ferrodo DS2500 are great pads and they have found there way onto my Leon Cupra R with great results but i
found them impossible to obtain unless i made a minimum order of 5 ha!

I will try new DS2500 or Mintex 1144's before changing master cylinder or calipers.
Can anyone provide a link to the actual ones I need, apologies but not to upto speed with Ford calipers and fitments?

Covered many times just start by changing the master cylinder to a smaller bore type ----- 19mm bore from various Fiat models are the popular
choice and dirt cheap from Brakes international.

Master cylinder change is the cheapest (less than £30) mod and the one to do first it will reduce required pedal force by approximately 1/3 and
greatly improve feel.
Larger hydraulic area calipers on the front on a BEC not a good idea it will result in premature front locking especially in the wet
