Dry sump gsxr

How do

I'm after installing a dry sump system on my k6 gsxr1000 engine. I've just blown my second engine at knock hill. Can only think the hard cornering is starving the oil. Can anyone point me towards a previous thread or a recommended system? Cheers rog

They are available. I think rilltech do one but not sure if SBD or nova do. Andy Laurence on uphillracers has one in a gsxr 1000 and had no issues in his ADR

I do have a rather beautiful (gold anodised) Nova dry sump system, which I could be persuaded to sell. Complete kit, pump, etc.
It's done no work, other than being mounted on the bottom of the engine, tested and then removed.

Do a bit of research on the system, if you're seriously interested drop me message. If not, or you want to go a locost route to solving the oil starvation, please ignore.

I bought all the kit (new) for the GSXR1000, then decided to go the Hayabusa route... hey ho.
I was once indecisive, but now I'm not so sure.

I have the nova setup on my busa and had no oil pressure issues whatsoever

Hi

Cheers for the info everyone, I've had a look at both the dry and wet systems mentioned. They both look good and have good write ups. Just need to weigh up the pros and cons although Im favouring the dry system, interested
To know any feedback on wet systems also

Hi Andy

Was good meeting you guys also. Had a top day and got some good footage trying to catch you guys in one of the sessions. Pitty my engine popped but at least it was towards the end of the day. Defo going back to knockhill, brilliant circuit.
