Smartripper - 21/9/08 at 04:40 PM

Hello,

My MNR Vortx with zx12r engine from 2000 is just two weeks back with me in holland after the SVA that was done by MNR....(great service!!!) but at DayTuner the engine just died...... ecu and stickcoils were broken ???? after getting some new ones...... the engine will start fine but....

Got a huge problem, there is white smoke coming from the exhaust..... engine doesn't whant to idle good either....

What do you guys think.... headgasket or something else ???

I would imagine that the head gasket has blown, white smoke is the coolant turning to steam in the cylinders. Check the the coolant level to see if it has dropped also check the oil on the dip stick and oil filler cap to see if it's turning to a white emulsion.

Coolant level did drop....but oil also so thats a little strange...????

Have drained the oil today no white emulsion on oilcap or in the oil....

Did dimantel the engine, headgasket looks ok but i'am no expert, pistons are black as hell.... also the valves are very very black. It's very strange..maybe it's the pistonrings also.....

Will check it tommorow evening.

Thanks Daniel
