SVA pass, now need insurance
madrallysport - 16/7/09 at 12:22 PM

Guys got my robinhood to pass its SVA yesterday (second attempt), i now need to get insurance to get it reg'd.

I've heard of Adrian Flux insurance, and 2gether, are there any other companies out there i should try?

I want to try and sort this out asap, as i want to place the car up for sale to help fund my aries locoblade build.

Cheers guys for all your help in getting the car SVA'd

how old are you?

im 21 with a zx10 and struggled to get many sensible quotes, in the end someone (cant remember who but they weren't widely hear of) gave me a price or around £900 and 2gether matched it

flux were silly expensive (thousands) and footman james wouldnt touch a bec until 25

edit:

doh, just noticed the blade isnt in the RH, ignore me!

Always insured my Indy with Footman James who've been good on price and pleasant to deal with on the phone.

ime 19 with a zx9 indy and i am insured with flux. I pay £500 bang on with the euro breakdown cover, if i didnt take the brakedown cover it would have been £475!!! try em

Just renewed mine this morning, FJ wanted £180, 2gether matched the cover for £170, not bad considering I have two hefty accident claims!

you could try backfoprd bloor.
they've almost always been the cheapest quote i've had.

they have very nice staff too, a real office that "gets out your paperwork" yes real paper.

i like that

Im 25 with a zetec and insured with sureterm. Best i could get. £270 with 6 points for speeding. 180 without the points.
