Brake / Clutch MC Orientation...

Assuming you're running one of these MC's with a remote reservoir and that the systems properly bled...





... then does it's orientation matter!?

More specifically, would there be a problem with running it upside down?

Would probably hard to get the trapped air out with the outlet below.

The inlet wouldn't matter really as it would just turn through 180.

Ports should still be accesible to fluid, they are just drillings. I've just had one apart.

How about bleeding it in the traditional orientation, then turning it upside down???

I assume then you are using a flexy from the outet port, not copper pipe. Least amount of flexy in a system, the lower the pressure loss, so to speak.

I can't see any problem. Gravity will keep the reservoir fluid pressing down as long as it is well above the port.
The outlet is pressurised anyway, when pushrod pushed of course.
