Removing the brake servo. Sierra I think.

Mine is still mounted but not used. This is stopping me getting the clutch MS close enough to the pivot point of the pedal to get a sensible clutch feel. What is involved in removing it if its possible? I have a MK3 first cylinder to fit too.

fixing bolt centers are close but not quite there....
you will need to make a pushrod .... bit of 10 or 12mm studding will do

I removed the servo mounts on the bulkhead back to a flat surface. Then cut off the front of the servo and
welded it to the bulkhead, I had to cut a large hole to clear the indent in the servo and made a new pushrod
from a piece of 10mm round bar.

Have you got any pics, im not sure what to expect when it comes apart really. Never had anything to do with brake servo's before.

Can take a pic of the finished setup tomorrow.
I had to use the grinder to cut open the servo, there's nothing sinister inside, just
Springs and a
big rubber diaphragm.
