Handbrake location

Was in a Citroen van the other day and the handbrake was to the right of the drivers seat, anyone put their handbreak just in front of the drivers seat on the right hand side rather than on the transmission tunnel? I've had my seat in place and guesstimate the released handbrake would be clear of my leg and out the way.

What ever works for you, just remember though if your going to use 4 point harness's that you may have trouble leaning forward enough to reach it? I seem to remember that a/the Rush has/had it under the steering column at one point although I stand to be corrected.

Thats what I like about putting ideas out there, never thought of the lack of movement whilst wearing 4 point harness, will get everything in place and see if I can reach.

Not sure how much room is in a locost tunnel but on the fisher fury you could mount it inside the tunnel using a modified I.e. Bent bracket, Sierra hand brake.
