Hi Sooty, thanks for posting that photo. "A picture is always worth......." etc.

Check the digits on that plastic ID band round the mcyl casting. Looks like it is black. If so mcyl has 22.2mm bore. But those digits (e.g. 660** ) will give the true identity.

74660176 is only the casting part number, and this may well have been used for several different mcyls.

Thanks,

But if you look close up its more of a purple/plum coloured band.

Cant give any more detail, local motorspares has it to try and identify.

Sooty, if that's "plum" coloured, then definitely NOT 22.2mm bore. Reversing from the casting 74660167 has revealed that your example is in fact 17.8mm bore. And it came from one of the older Fiesta 1100 variants, (76 - 83).

thanks

Now my problem my local spares peep can't locate one.

Any suggestions where I might get one other than fleabay. Tried Eurocarts, not listed.

Thanks

Replacing with a cylinder that physically fits the bolt pattern is possible even if it is not the exact same diameter.
Be aware that bigger Cylinders will give firmer pedal with shorter trhow and smaller pedals will give softer feel with longer throw.
Second option may not lock both pair of wheels though.
