steve8274 - 7/9/10 at 08:41 PM

thanks big wasa. take it they are unused? i want new ones since i was told not to re use old nuts once removed. like nylocs
mcerd1. i need rear ones. thanks for offer
steve

big_wasa - 7/9/10 at 08:51 PM

No they are used. haynes recomend they are aonly reused upto five times. They are not nyloc's

steve8274 - 7/9/10 at 09:02 PM

mine are truly knackered. must have been on and off few times before me then.
my hub nuts have coloured nyloc style inserts at end of nut. green and white. these same as yours?
i will take them and try if you dont mind, thats if it is a full set for sale and if they reply to you
steve

mcerd1 - 7/9/10 at 09:08 PM

all the sierra/granada ones I've had have been nylocks (old & new, ford and aftermarket)

the aftermarket ones have all got white inserts, but a mark/ notch on the outside of the lefthanded ones

big_wasa - 7/9/10 at 09:24 PM

Looks like mine are early ones as they are the staked type and both are m22x1.5 and are both r/h thread.

thats what you get when you buy random odd parts instead of a donor.

So no good to you.

steve8274 - 7/9/10 at 09:32 PM

correct. no good to me. however, if you get these bearings and they have nuts like mine which will be no use to you, please let me know
thanks
steve
