FS - barely started Luego project
goverton - 5/1/13 at 02:43 PM

For sale, entire project. Started a long time ago, and then put on hold for a few years while I was living abroad. It's been clogging up my Dads garage ever since (sorry dad)! Back in the country for an extended break before moving back overseas again, so it's all got to go...

chassis - Luego Velocity:
* powder coated black, although some powder coat has been scratched off
* fixed brake lines installed, mastercylinder/reservoir
* floor mount pedal box
* fuel lines installed (feed and return)
* wishbones x8 (upper lower front and rear)

running gear:
* sierra diff 3.92
* shortened driveshafts
* front calipers (refurbed) and disks (new)
* rear drums (refurbed)
* steering column (not altered)
* escort mk2 steering rack (new) with clamps and new rubbers

Chassis is essentially rolling, but only in initial fit (no shocks)

bodywork - Luego locost (i.e. standard measurements, not the taller Velocity bodywork) in yellow, mostly still bubble wrapped from original delivery:
* nosecone
* scuttle
* bonnet
* front cycle wings and brackets
* rear wings (wide)
* rear panel
* stainless steel side panels full length (with hole cutouts for suspension)
* interior ally panels

engine/box:
* Mazda 13b, was running well in donor and still feels good when turning by hand, but it hasnt been run for several years now
* 13b gearbox still attached
* comes with all original emissions gear and full wiring harness and dash

Ideally I'd like to sell the whole lot in one go, but I'll be willing to split if the are no takers for the whole project.
1200 GBP gets everthing mentioned above, most likely including a whole bunch of other smaller items that I've forgotten.

Other items:
* Sierra diff 3.14 - sold
* 1989 MR2 mk1 Supercharger 3500GBP

If I were you I'd list that Sierra diff as a separate item in a new thread, they're sought after on here and would sell v quick at that price.

ReMan - 5/1/13 at 04:15 PM

I'll take the diff off you.
U2U me payment details or I can do cash on collection, but it will be a week or so before I'm down that way next

ashg - 5/1/13 at 06:46 PM

if i were the judge i would say earliest time stamp gets it be it u2u or forum post.

daniel mason - 5/1/13 at 06:51 PM

why not a northener with a blown budget and no money?

billy - 5/1/13 at 09:20 PM

No row.
I was wanting it to (not sell) too, For my Fireblade Indy, as once the Turbo is fitted, I expect it will out power the 3.38 LSD I have now.
So I posted as such, publicly.
The rest of the pointless commentary has been unhelpful to you me or Spartacus

daniel mason - 5/1/13 at 09:31 PM

well done jossey. helpful.
i sent u2u to op immediately, which is correct in my view

jrrsparky - 5/1/13 at 09:42 PM

The hole lot for 1200 is a bargain and sounds too good.

His profile shows he was logged on this morning so could be dealing with it via pm's as its a great package for that price so a bit early for derogatory comments i think.

sdh2903 - 6/1/13 at 04:57 PM

this is why on most forum sites you need to be either a fully paid up member or have a minimum number of posts before being able to sell anything. Stops people joining the site just to sell stuff for free.

billy - 6/1/13 at 04:58 PM

It's showing that he has been online today! Mmmmm

ruskino80 - 6/1/13 at 05:04 PM

i wonder if goverton has sold the diff to daniel then via pm?

daniel mason - 6/1/13 at 05:19 PM

no. sent 2 and both been read,hes been online but still no replies as of yet. i will not agree to buying anyway until ReMan and myself have agreed on the situation. there is no dispute on my behalf and im happy for ReMan to take it if he wishes

daniel mason - 6/1/13 at 06:31 PM

my offer now withdrawn. good luck to those still interested.

I only joined to sell a wiring loom

ReMan - 6/1/13 at 06:58 PM

As much as I would like this, in light of the situation, (and I have no issue with Daniel), I also withdraw my offer.
It is difficult not to draw conclusions on the as the lack of contact by now.
Thanks and good luck

And you're still here nearly 8000 posts later

goverton - 6/1/13 at 08:16 PM

Woah, wasn't expecting that kind of response!

The diff has now sold.

Daniel, Reman, neither of you were first to respond unfortunately, but thanks for the interest.

I understand people being sceptical buying and selling things online, I'm happy to relist everything at a higher price if it makes everyone happy!

Just by way of further explanation for the doubters, I'm only back in the country only for a few weeks and I'm trying to clear as much as the stuff as possible out of my dads garage, hence the low prices, although it's very difficult putting a price on these things, especially part built projects. However, I've got a lot of loose ends to tie up, flat to refurb and re-let after previous tennant trashed it as well as friends and family to visit for the last time for another few years, so I'm not on the site very frequently and you might have to wait a day or so for responses sometimes (apparently the site doesn't work too well on a 6 year old phone!) but I will try to get back to people asap.

Anyway, thats beside the point, everything apart from the 3.14 diff is still available, and apparently it's a great price!

daniel mason - 6/1/13 at 08:39 PM

you could have doubled it and added some mate!

goverton - 6/1/13 at 08:41 PM

If only I'd known! I knew it was rarish but no idea how sought after it would be. Oh well...

billy - 6/1/13 at 08:50 PM

It would only of been any use to those bec lovers out there, cos there not very quick with them little engines in them
