Peter Cowley - 22/9/13 at 12:49 PM

It is with deep regret that I am selling my car however a future project calls.

This car was previously owned by both Sonic and Mediabloke on this forum so they can vouch for what a great car this is. It starts on the button every time, and is extremely nice to drive, giving smooth tractable power.

- Gloss black Team Dynamics 16" alloy wheels - just had 2 new Toyo T1R on the rear - no marks at all - immaculate

- Megajolt 3d mappable electronic ignition system.
- Carb jetted and ignition re-map by Damien at Daytuner of Harrogate running approx 115bhp at wheels
- 4-into-1 tubular, stainless-steel, straight-through exhaust with MK can.
- Ford rear diff & 5-speed Type 9 gearbox with short-throw gear lever.

Not a great time of the year to sell, I'm afraid, but good luck!

sonic - 22/9/13 at 03:45 PM

Best Indy for fit and finish i have ever seen that car, the dash is one of only 3 specially made for the car and if i had the money right now i would be knocking his door down, that engine as quoted by Steve at Bogg bros is one of the best transformation they have seen by fitting the bike carbs.

With that engine the car is light and fast with out being to OTT, i still have a smoked coloured screen in my garage to fit that car.

Who ever buys it please look after it as i may want it back in the future!

Good luck with the sale

Peter Cowley - 22/9/13 at 05:22 PM

Thanks for the comments Sonic, it is a great car, and not that sure I want to sell really.
When I bought the car, I hadn't even pre-planned buying one, it was bought on impulse I liked it that much !!!

Its not the best time of year to sell, but if it doesn't go, I will just Sorn it and keep it until next year.

As Mick [ sonic ] say's its a great car very fast and is a looker i have chased the back of that car a few times
good luck with the sale
Graham

Thanks for the kind comments Graham.

Its always a difficult one to try and put a price on these cars as they vary so much, but looking at what is else is currently available and the build/condition of this hopefully I have priced it right ?!.

Cheers.

Peter.

I would keep it until next year, if you still want to sell it i would ask over 6K for it.

You won't find another built like that with the unique dash etc, i wish i had taken that dash off and used it to make a mold, everybody who saw it wanted one like it.

Could be a nice little earner that!

Peter Cowley - 23/9/13 at 07:13 PM

Thanks Sonic.....I just wasn't sure what to ask for it. If it goes soon then fine, but I won't give the car away.

I am surprised there hasn't been any interest, as there are quite a few dogs around for not a lot less money.

I am sure that the first viewer will buy it, because it is such a well put together car, and it goes really well. Probably a better choice than a redtop due to the weight difference and revvy nature of it with the bike carbs. These engines are easily tuneable upto 200bhp.

It could be a nice earner, but wouldn't have a clue about taking a mold off the dash ?! I am surprised MK never started supplying them ?.

Cheers.
Peter.

Your right Graham, the guy i bought the car off, his mate made them.
There was only 3 ever made, i know at least 3 people who would buy one if they became available.

Can't make it Mitch as I have family here all day.

Anyway I promised the new owner it would get stashed from today ready for him to collect next week.

Thanks for the offer anyway.

I will still be lurking here anyway.....so maybe if I get a new toy in the future......

mjb199 - 29/9/13 at 08:04 AM

Delighted to introduce myself as the new owner of this car. It lived up to the high expectations I had after very positive feedback from sonic, mediabloke and peter himself. Thanks to all for answering my many questions. Can't wait to pick it up next weekend. Let's hope the sun makes an appearance for the 2 hr drive back down the m6.
