I've got six of these for sale. Bought from a locost racer and never used. They're all in excellent condition, lightened and polished for locost racing.

£300ono.

Although i'm not after these right now, i'm interested to know how they've been "lightened" and what the weight saving is over standard?

They've been lightened by removing metal prior to polishing.

How much weight? I don't know but they came from a locost racer who is an instructor now, so I had no reason to disbelieve him.

When I get the old tyres off, I'll get a better idea.

What condition are the tyres, and would you post to Plymouth?

HI,
The wheels are the Escort RS wheels, marked 6J x13 x 19, so 19 offset.

The tyres are in real good condition, kept under wraps, but a few years old, so probably gone hard.

I can send them to Plymouth, but the cost with tyres would be very high, probably about £25/wheel and tyre. Only four have tyres.

I planned on selling the wheels only, because of the cost of the shipping with the tyres.

Hi Nev,
Thanks for the reply. I need to do a bit of research before making any definate decision as I have just thought that I have hoofing great RS cosworth discs and calipers under my 16 inch alloys at present so will have to trial fit a 13 inch rim first and confirm the offset would be ok too.
Just out of interest would you post all 6 alloys for the £300?

These probably will not fit over Cosworth brakes, as Cosworths had 14" wheels. But have a try first, as Ford would have allowed good clearance.

I'll do the six wheels with freight to anywhere in the country that isn't Highlands and Islands for £330.
