FS, Mazda mx5 1.8 engine and 5 speed gearbox, low mileage.

Hi all,

I wondered if this would be of interest to anyone here.
I've just bought a 1994 Mazda mx5 1.8, that I'm swapping a V8 into.

It ran and drove lovely for the 30 miles back to my mates garage.

So the engine and 5-speed gearbox will be available soon.
It's all standard and original, and only 104,000kms on the clock, there's even a cam belt service kit to go with it.
It will come with the ecu, loom, air box, and alternator.
I'm just keeping the steering pump, and ac compressor, in case I need them for my build.

It can come complete with the standard exhaust system too.

I thought it was ideal for a kit car build, a nice straight engine that hasn't been messed with.

I'm looking for £400 ono for it.

Located just off junction 28 of the M1, at Pinxton, Notts.

Fair enough, but I've seen higher mileage engines for sale at £450-500, so I thought £400 ono was fair.

I'm willing to take and offer if you're interested.

Cam belt service kit, included that cost approx £90...

That's only about 64,000 miles so it's not a lot for a lightweight car. Good luck with sale
