I'm just getting set up to offer these again if people are interested? If there's not much interest then I shan't bother

Supplied as a complete 'weld your own' kit of parts, laser cut and with all the hardware you need to build a fully baffled, low profile (76mm), RWD sump.

You can download the assembly manual here to see what's involved: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1rnk4Xq27ydAiDVl45RSprWRtxRfxV0MF

Kits would be priced at £125 including delivery in the UK.

Hi Sera, I’m interested in one of these. Do you have a finished welded price? Thanks, Craig

snapper - 28/4/20 at 09:08 AM

I am also interested, don’t have access to a welder so welded price would be useful will consider buying the kit if no other options

flak monkey - 28/4/20 at 09:10 AM

Sorry, I'm not planning to supply these as welded assemblies, only as DIY weld your own flat packs.

snapper - 29/4/20 at 12:37 PM

Ill buy one as it look to have superior baffles to the Tiger sump.
Just trying to get a local welder to give me a price.

I have a complete welded sump here, complete with pickup pipe which is going spare. Slight flange distortion but clamps up flat no bother.

dazzx10r - 4/8/20 at 09:07 PM

I have sent you a u2u.

flak monkey - 10/8/20 at 01:10 PM

The fully welded sump is available to anyone who is looking for a sump for their Duratec, complete with oil pick up pipe.

£170 delivered in England/Scotland/Wales.

sheepish0001 - 10/8/20 at 01:52 PM

Nope, sorry

Dotoman - 10/8/20 at 09:47 PM

Where do you purchase the duratec sump kit form, the flange is the main bit I need cos I am going to have to build my own pan for it.

kennyl87 - 27/10/20 at 10:31 AM

Hey. Would these fit the mzr version of the duratec?

Thanks kenny

Yes, they are the same engine.

I have one pre-welded sump and pick up here.

snapper - 28/10/20 at 07:46 AM

Sera, I’ll have the fully welded one as it looks better than the Tiger sump I bought...
Paul

kennyl87 - 15/5/21 at 06:23 PM

do you still sell these?

Pete Jordan - 21/6/21 at 10:18 PM

Hi Sera,

Like the post above, I'm wondering if you still do the Duratec sump kits. I'd certainly be interested in buying one if you are.

Thanks,

Pete

fia289 - 13/2/22 at 05:11 PM

Hi Sera, do you still sell the kit ?

Thanks,

Pete Jordan - 13/2/22 at 10:38 PM

Sera doesn't post on here any longer. I think they've moved on from kit cars and are more into bikes these days. I ended up buying the design rights for the sump and am selling the kits. Are you interested in buying a kit?

fia289 - 13/2/22 at 11:19 PM

Yes Pete, I would be interested in a kit,

Fred

Pete Jordan - 13/2/22 at 11:36 PM

Hi Fred,

To be sure this sump will work for you, what Duratec is it for I.e. what capacity is it and does it have a timing belt or chain, and what car is it going in? I assume you'll want it shipped to Montreal, so I'll find out the shipping cost and send you a price. I cannot upload photos here, so if you PM me and give me an email address, I'll send you some build pics, so you can see what's involved.

Pete
