a good friend of mine living in Winchester needs to find a run around and has £500 to spend. She needs the car to get to work so something small, cheap to run and hopefully fairly reliable!

Anyone got anything for around that dosh, she won't mind traveling to pick it up for the right car.

Worth keeping an eye in the Winchester Extra (free paper distributed weekly on thurs/fri). There's usually a couple of sub £1k cars in there.

There's also Southampton Motor Auction close by who have 2-3 auctions a week. Not sure if they go down that cheap, but might be worth a look.
