I've taken on a restoration project of a Moggy 1000 for a family friend and it needs a LOT of underside welding.

Does anyone have a rollover jig that I could borrow for a few months? Naturally beer tokens await and if I damage it a full new replacement will be returned.

I'm aware I could weld one up, but these things tend to get made and shoved in the corner of the garage.

Your about four months to early currently restoring a triumph 2000 mk2 with me dad I wanna start on my build now so that one will take a bit longer


We got are one off EBay comes in bits just stick it together cheap and simple bit of kit

Sorry to say it's taking a back seat whilst I finish the house, fix other cars and do actual work!!! But the engine is being balanced at the mo, so very slowly ticking over.

is it strong enough to turn over? many of the roll over jigs I have seen hold the car at the ends which puts a lot of stress on the car. I'd do the sills and most of the floor with the car supported on blocks (brace up the door apertures first as doors move to much to be any use)

You can see below on a very rusty vw bug, if I'd flipped it as it was it would have either warped or even folder up

The crap camera lens is making the tubes look squint but they were both level

Thanks All, the Morris owner has brought the steel to make one

Mr Whippy, I've X-braced the car and most Minors i've seen on a jig are mounted safely, I'll be sure to do one section at a time not cut every thing out at once.
