French chalk

I mostly use scribers in one form or another.

Scriber & rule, dividers, trammels, etc.

If you cut to the side of the line so that the line just shows after the cut
then you still have a line to grind (flap disc) to when you clean up the cut edge.

With other methods the line disappears with the heat from the cut.

Problem with scriber is seeing the line with dark lenses.

We always use french chalk and then centre pop line at work.

Or you could tack some scrap together and do this.
