nick205 - 13/7/16 at 03:25 PM

Amazed...

1. Shut my laptop down and MS applied 12 updates.

2. Powered my laptop up and MS applied 22,202 updates.

Is it me or is there something wrong with MS Windows 7...?

Indeed, I suspect that was the case! And MS seem to apply numerous updates regularly to the point I wonder how much they got wrong with the OS in the first place

Indeed, which is all the more reason not to be running an OS that is nearly 7 years old.

Upgrade to Windows 10 - it's better and it is only free until the end of this month! After that MS will be changing for the upgrade.

It's works laptop and W7 works fine. As yet I don't want W10 or to be pushed in to it. Moving from XP to W7 was a no choice matter when replacing my last laptop.Again XP seemed OK to me.
