Anyone done one?

I quite fancy the idea tbh and its something I want to consider before deciding on cage layout and dimensions etc

This comes up a lot during Winter and a Donkervoort appears. Bloody lovely cars but with a price tag to match. Far better looking than that Westfield effort
A few people have tried I believe. Benzine gave it a go if you look in his pictures and I think it was Trev D who was doing a nice one for his ally car.

Trev D's job and here is Benzine's thread.

I think lotus were the first with the series 4 .
I have seen those with hard tops on.

I like the Donkervoort effort.
It has crossed my mind to, but i would want it as a complete one piece including screen, so i could remove the hole lot.

Ray (Chippy) has made his own hard top from fibreglass. It fits to the top of the screen rail. Just looked through my photos and I have one where you can see his car in the distance (taken at a recent run out to Cowfold). If he sees this he might post up a pic that's easier to see! A Lotus 7 S4 with hard top.

I have even been thinking about modding an old Land Rover ally roof.

It was done earlier than the S4, and it was only done in order to homologate the cars to race in GT classifications. Rescued attachment 7gt.jpg
