The carbon wheels are dead good, from a showpiece perspective

If this was facebook I'd have "liked" all the comments on this thread. But yeah that poo is expensive and If you did your alloys, I think it still damages from stone chips just as easily and I would be tempted to guess that the thin film would hold moisture in, making them more prone to corrosion defects.

The film itself isn't resistant to much but its always advised to clear coat after application so should be as hard wearing as any normal painted wheel.
