Hi all

If you was doing a new build for a 7 rep like a mk Indy what colour combination would you choose if it had carbon arches front and rear.

All answers very welcome images even better, you can get creative if you like

you don't list red or silver ;-)

Silver, with a black line down the middle and black lip stick

Sorry must be a grp colour as not wanting to paint the car,

Always think they look nice with the tub one colour and the arches a different colour.

White with carbon arches looks nice, or Orange tub and black
Although I'm a bit biased for the last one

I always love the combo of a strong yellow like RAL1003 (signal yellow) with black carbon arches.

If I were to build another car I would probably go for Orange with carbon arches just to be different from my current car.

I do like do see white cars with black carbon detail, but I'm unsure if I like white 7esque cars

With Carbon it has to be white, it is the new black after all

Mine is going to be orange with black wheel arches but given a choice it would be the same as KAR 120 C with clamshell wings BRG with yellow - IVA Grrrr!

midnight blue/imperial blue and carbon arches with gold wheels

I like kgreen or white. But my cars all black!

Yellow/orange/kawasaki green.

But rear arches need to be body coloured imo

Carbon/different coloured ones always make me think of old Ford Escorts driving around with a wing in primer!!!!!

Orange / black of course

White again. It's a great canvas for graphics and works great with black. Currently got Martini stripes, but might do Castrol or Alitalia one day. Black or carbon arches are on my mid-term do do list.

One unexpected upside is that I've been able to repair the single piece tub with boat GRP gel coat filler (after grounding the sill on trailer, trimming too much bonnet and a low speed rear ending). Just sand down with finer grades of wet & dry and finish with metal polish.
